Auto Parts Sales Person [Required immediately]

We are looking for sales person well experienced in the automotive industry.

Join our auto parts sales team.  You will be responsible for providing accurate and friendly service and building long-lasting relationships with our customer base.

The Automotive Parts Specialist [especially European Makes and Models]

  • Should provide first-class service to walk-in customers and telephone traffic.
  • Extremely knowledgeable about automotive products especially BMW, VW, Mercedes Benz, and Audi
  • Should be able to accurately answer questions and satisfy customer requirements.
  • The Parts Specialist uses a computerized system to identify and locate automotive products within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery.
  • He or she monitors inventory to ensure adequate availability and handles returns.

The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of experience as a salesperson especially European auto parts [such as BMW, VW, Mercedes Benz, and Mazda]

A strong customer service performance record, and strong computer and internet skills. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Automotive Technician

Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for physically fit candidates with good attention to detail for the position of Diesel Mechanic.

This is a well-established business and you will be working in a busy working environment. The varieties of engines and gearboxes that come through the workshop, help to keep the role interesting.

Diesel Mechanics need to be highly organized and communicate effectively, as they will be expected to maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles and interact with customers on a daily basis.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
  • Analyzing diagnostic test results.
  • Checking vehicle lighting systems.
  • Test-driving vehicles to gauge performance.
  • Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
  • Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
  • Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.

Diesel Mechanic must have experience in diesel and overhaul maintenance and have a good command of the English languages

  • Should be able to “think outside the box” as a problem solver when working on a job
  • Needs to be polite and easy to get along with other staff members
  • must be able to follow instructions from the boss
  • Proof of work history is required.
  • must be reliable with a good work ethic

Fork Lift Operator

You must be mature enough and have prior experience in forklift operation because you are going to work in a high-pace and high-risk health & safety environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing pre-check to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment.
  • Moving controls, devices, and levers to drive forklifts to move vehicles between vehicle unloading, loading, and vehicle storage areas
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Writing Numbers on the vehicles, taking pictures of the incoming vehicles and upload the images to the groups through Viber
  • Reporting to Manager regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
  • Consulting, working and coordinating with supervisors, managers, and employees regarding unloading and loading operations.
  • Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debris.
  • Must feel comfortable working in fast-paced and High-Risk health and safety environment

This position will require you to work in and around Car Yard, therefore your attitude and commitment towards safety in the workplace for yourself, your colleagues and the customers is of utmost importance.

Skills:

  • A full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 drivers license with F endorsement certificate
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read labels and numbers.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced and high-risk health & safety environment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
  • Good physical health.
  • Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor or the Manager.
  • Must have a sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision.
  • Physical ability to periodically lift heavy objects.
  • Should have strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work 6 days -Monday to Saturday. So previous experience working shifts is preferred
  • Extensive experience in fork hoist operation working in Car Yard
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role and happy to work outdoors
  • Enjoy working to rules, regulations, and procedures
